2011 Opening Night Celebration
A Night To Remember in Historic Granbury
You can bet your boots there will be plenty of food, but lakeside dining is just the beginning. This is an Opening Night Celebration not to be missed! After a day of engaging speakers, exhilarating workshops and enthralling tours, kick back and relax during a night of exceptional entertainment on Wednesday, April 27. Join the celebration and you'll be glad you ventured to the countryside where history lives and good times are guaranteed. 
Palette pleasing - (5-7 p.m.) Your first stop is the Granbury Conference Center where a collection of Granbury's best chefs will present an array of delicacies to satisfy any palette. Enjoy a variety of filling food as you gaze out on a stunning view of Lake Granbury. Then stroll along the beach or boardwalk before hitting the town square.

Guest Performance - (5-7 p.m.) Nancy Burks Worcester, a highly sought after actress, ventriloquist, storyteller, playwright and published author will emcee and entertain at the Granbury Conference Center. Nancy is the co-author and co-star of an award-winning national television program “The Nana Puddin' Show,” author and star of “That Safety Show!” produced in conjunction with the Carrollton, Texas Fire Department and author of several books of scripts for ventriloquists. Get your tickets early for the 2011 Opening Night Celebration. Don't miss Nancy as she delights the crowd gathered to dine at the Conference Center.

Toe tapping - (6-9 p.m.)
Check out Granbury Square Plaza where a crowd-pleasing band will keep you moving to the music. Fortify yourself for late night shopping on the town square as you enjoy a free wine tasting provided by Barking Rocks Vineyard & Winery. Stock up on your favorite vintage before venturing indoors to see the Gardens of Granbury/Glen Rose Art & Photography Show . Lining the hallways, you'll view paintings and photographs rendered by area artists that will stir your imagination and delight your green thumb.

Shopper satisfying - (6-9 p.m.)
Do a boot scooting boogie around Granbury's historic square where merchants will be open late for your shopping pleasure. Only registered ‘reception' attendees will be entitled to shopping discounts at selected shops. As an attendee, you'll also be eligible to register for great door prizes.
Sweetly gratifying -
(7-9 p.m.) Stop by Celebration Hall for a delicious dessert and pick up your door prize if you are a lucky winner. Winners will be announced 8-9 p.m. You do not have to be present to win.
